Former Roma star Francesco Totti has hailed Mohamed Salah as “one of the best players in the world,” and believes the Liverpool forward can get even better.
wap sbobet Totti, who ended his 25-year playing career at Roma last season, says that the best is yet to come from the Egyptian, who has scored 22 goals in 26 appearances in the Premier League this season.
Totti played with Salah in Italy last season and he believes the 25-year-old can be considered one of the best in the world because he is a player who is driven to listen and improve.
“The level he is playing at at the moment, he is one of the best players in the world — and I think he can and will get even better,” Totti told Liverpool’s official website.
“I know him well, he is a good friend and wants to keep improving, to keep getting better as a player.”
Totti added: “He does all the right things, he trains hard, he works hard, he listens to the coaches – that’s why, as good as he is playing at the moment, I think maybe there is even one more level in him.”
“Liverpool cannot be ruled out of winning the Champions League”
Salah’s prolific form in front of goal this season is keeping hopes of success this season alive on the red half of Merseyside.
Liverpool are still competing for a top-four finish in the Premier League and are almost certain to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after dismantling Porto 5-0 at the Estádio do Dragão.
