Yes, very stable. I’ve been using it since build 34 and then build 39 and now RC1. It is very stable, no crashes or freezes. Just don’t overclock it past 600Mhz with setcpu. I am very happy with having 2.3 on my phone.

Cyanogen Mod is up to 2.3 Gingerbread now. I am running CM7 RC1 and it is working great on the WellcoM A88/z71.

For me it enabled the call and end (green and red) buttons to wakeup the phone. Before I did this only the power key waked up the phone. I think it works on all 2.2 ROMs.

Can someone please answer. If already have Phantom 2.2 do I need to go back to 2.1 first? If I flash another 2.2 directly will I lose my IMEI as some have reported?
