Is there an easy way to use the A88 as a modem with a PC via USB ? I searched here and on internet and could not find anything simple… It is straightforward with an Iphone , but I haven’t found a way to tether my Android phone…

For 32-bit Windows it should work out of the box. For 64-bit Windows or Mac OS 10.5/10.6 pls try PDANet krub.
Thanks Hellvy, I tried using the PC Tools program associated with the A88, click “Phone as a Modem “, and tried to enter all the APN names present in my phone ( I am on AIS 1-2-call ), but the answer is always ” No modem”… I have Windows XP on an Asus eee 1000HE netbook.

For me, i don’t need to do such thing krub. Just plug the phone via USB and choose Phone as MODEM. No need to choose APN.
If you still need to try and you know which APN is working (I think default working APN is named Internet), you should try remove all other unused APN and try connect again krub.
In My opinion,I’ll use app PDAnet to share internet from mobile (just turn on APNDroid to using wifi/3G/EDGE/GPRS ) but I don’t know the way you’ll use A88 as modem, if just connect internet I think PDAnet that best way.

Could PDAnet can share internet to PC run Linux(Ubuntu) krub.

I think PDANet support Linux via Bluetooth DUN but not currently support USB connection for krub.
