With the advent of supplements and growing ubiquity involving smartphones, a new Olympic sport has emerged: display juggling.
And men probably will take the gold in that competition, as they are more likely than female to follow the Olympics on three or maybe more devices, according to a fresh poll.
It seems that 40% of those that plan to follow the Summertime Olympics starting in a few days will do it upon two or more devices, according to a recent Harris Interactive poll.
Instead of channel browsing, 14% of U.S. adults surveyed said they planned to follow along with the Games by screen shifting amongst three or more devices — that’s more devices than hands to hold them.
In the struggle between the smaller window screens, the results also show that 35% of American adults will tune in to their capsules for news of the Games from Manchester while 27% plan to visit their smartphones.
“This study reveals that a significant number of Americans are choosing to consume Olympic content out and about, and while doing so they will,re overwhelmingly checking out mobile browsers,, explained Krishna Subramanian, chief marketing official of Velti, fake oakley sunglasses, which requested the poll.Although there are oodles of apps, mobile browsers are most often more appealing, according to the opinion poll. Of the smartphone group, 77% polled saying they would prefer to launch any browser and 63% uses apps for improvements. On tablets, a whopping 80% said they'd use browsers and 58% would certainly use apps. (Obviously, there's a bit of overlap in the numbers, with some likely to use both internet browsers and apps.)This is the first year that all in the 32 sports will be streamed live. And 45% of tablet viewers and also 41% of smartphone customers will be tuning in to watch live. Slightly more said they'd capture the action on the replay and thru video clips. The display juggling won't be restricted to the ones you can maintain in your hands, fake oakley sunglasses, the survey found. Some people plan to get old school and include watching on TV. In a mix of bigger screens, 36% prefer to watch on TV along with a computer, oakley stores (http://www.oakleysunglassespop.com), 11% on a TV and a smartphone, and 10% on a computer plus a smartphone.
Being able to enjoy on all of these monitors makes it easier to play armchair Olympic judge, particularly using the time difference between Birmingham and the U.Ersus.
