Thanks. I will charge it when I get home and wipe out the stats file. I think the problem is that I bought a second battery and it doesn’t have the same capacity as the original battery. So if I use both batteries the stats get messed up. I will try to stick with the original battery and only use the other one in emergencies.

@MinG Yoo – apichet40 said the file was in “data/system”. Why are you looking in “system/xbin”? That is not where he said to look. Also you probably have to be rooted to see the file.

No, I am using to stock ROM that came with the phone.

If you have ADB set up you can remove the boot animation. Just go into /system/media folder and remove or rename the boot animation zip file. Then you will get the standard Android boot animation.

@75863263 – Yes it is still under warranty according to sticker inside the phone. Will Wellcom help me or refuse service? Do they have the tools to flash bricked phones back to life? They are closed for Christmas so I cannot go until next week. (very sad).

I did firmware.nb0 on sdcard as mentioned above. It said “download succeeded” and then said nothing else. It didn’t go back to the recovery screen. After waiting long time I pulled battery and now power button doesn’t work. Does Wellcom service have tools to flashqphone like this.

I did that. It won’t turn on no matter what I do. I think the ROM is totally fried. Pressing the power button does nothing. I cannot go into recovery mode, emergency download mode or any mode.

The phone never vibrates or turns on. The power key does nothing now.

I dowenloaded firmware from sd card. It said firmware download succeeded but now my phone won’t turn on at all. Can someone help me please!!

You don’t understand. I have the stock firmware already loaded and I know how to flash the phone. I have a problem with the proximity sensor. When I make a call the screen goes off and I cannot get it to go back on.

Yes, I did that and rooted the phone with Universal Androot. But after flashing new recovery and CM 6.1 everything worked good until I turned off the phone. When I turned it back on it would not boot and was stuck on the Wellcom screen. I finally had to put the phone in emergency download mode and flashed back to stock Wellcom 2.1 rom. Anyone else have this problem with Clockwork recovery and CM 6.1 stable rom? I would like to go back to 2.2 but it was scary having the phone bricked overnight.
