All companies that sell Android devices are required by the GPL under which Android was released to give their source code to the public domain. Not providing source code is a violation of the GPL.
The sim tool kit is included in the flash update. That’s not the problem.
@cookied – Here is Angry Birds apk. It is free version from getjar. For some reason not showing up on Android Market like it should.

@veevie6: Doesn’t make sense because I have confirmed it works perfectly for other people. Are you sure you are deleting the old versions and flashing the new download? I guess you will need to go to I-Mobile service center to get yours flashed.
You DO need to do a factory reset BEFORE flashing.
Email sent.
Version 3: Delete previous versions to ensure you install this ROM only.
Here is the latest ROM I made for people that want to update to r1129 but cannot get to an I-Mobile service center.

Make folder on root of sd card named “update”. Then put the file in the update folder and rename the file to “update.zip”.
This will install r1129 to your I-Mobile i858.
Please post if you use this and detail what you had to do right after the update finishes and the phone reboots (i.e., did you get Android setup screen and did you need to login to your Google Account before being able to run Gmail or the Market app.
Here is a 4shared mirror as requested. Please note the following:
1. You might need to do a factory reset AFTER installing the ROM for the Market to work. Please report back to me if your Market works without the need for a factory reset after the flash.
2. Let me know if right after the flash if the phone made you log into your Google Account the first time you run the Market or Gmail after the flash. The more information you can give me will help when I make a r1367 update.
3. Phone is not rooted because flash update script changes permissions. Just install and run UniversalAndroot and tell it to root the phone again to get root.
Here is the mirror link.
(lLink deleted. Making a 3rd version. Will be uploaded tonight).
All previous download links are now dead.
@veevie6: Are you sure you flashed version 2. Other people are reporting the radio is now working on version 2.
@kikii: I will put up a mirror tonight and post a link.
If you connect by ADB you can also load the Android SDK and run DDMS to take a screenshot. If connected to computer by ADB you can also run Droid Explorer. It can take screenshots.
I like ADW Launcher. I also use Home Swticher (free in Android Market).
I think I found the problem. Symbolic links were not expanding properly. I made a new version that should fix this problem. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. If it works I will go to I-Mobile and go get r1367 and make another flash. If anyone flashes this please copy the update log file on your sd card and send to me (helpful for future versions).
Do a system reset before flashing.

You might need to do a factory reset to make memory available first. If you had a lot of installed apps the installation might be running out of memory and not completing.
Not sure. Did you try flashing two times? The first time I flashed to r969 that happened to me and I had to flash again. It should work no problems.
Try flashing again. That happened to me once with r969 and I just flashed again to fix it.
