Thanks. I went to MBK today. Ate lunch and came back and phone was ready. Now r1129 and compass is correct (before it was off by 180 degrees). Many people there getting upgrade today.

At SWP I they updated to r749 two weeks ago and I used SD card to update to r1069. I need to get updated to r1129.

So if I go to MBK today they can up my rom?

@Dojo-mAn – I like having the final rom in my phone even if the difference is very little. If you can get us the file to install via SD we would appreciate it very much. I cannot go back to SWP for at least a month so being able to update myself via SD would be nice.

@sabao – They remove your SD card and sim anyway when you get upgrade, so the file would not be there. Dojo has a special relationship with I-Mobile and has special access to the updates that other people don’t have.

I don’t care about the compass being accurate. Please post download link for final firmware.

Bootloader already updated when we went to SWP before. Are they putting another new bootloader on the phone? Can we go to any service center now or still just SWP?

If we already went to SWP for update we should be able to update by SD card.

If you are using a 3G sim download Network from the Android Market and lock the phone into WCDMA only mode. The signal problem is Android trying to swtich between 3G and Edge too much. When I locked mine to 3G only this problem stopped. If you are using Edge (like AIS) use the settings in the phone to lock it to 2G only mode.

I turn off phone and use as alarm clock. Phone plugged into charger at night. Turns on just fine and wakes me up every morning right on time. I have had no problems on both r969 and r1069. As far as I am concerned they are 100% for me!!! 555

Why doesn’t the camera make a noise when you take a photo? Is there a way to reenable the sound?

Mine is updated to r1069. Seems to be very fast and stable so far. I rooted it and removed Facebook, Twigee and Advanced Task Manager. I installed EStrongs Task Manager as was in the previous builds as I like it better. Thanks Por.

@thefrog. I have a Zyxel 660HW router from TrueMove and r969 connects to it no problem and stays connected solid.

I downloaded a program from the Market called Networks that lets me set phone to WCDMA only. That prevents the phone from trying to switch to Edge and I lose the signal very little. I carry two phones so most of my calls are on my AIS with cheap phone.
